Levisham is a small, picturesque, peaceful village within the North York Moors National Park. It is approximatley 7 miles from Pickering, and about 17 miles from Whitby. The village has a post office and pub which serves good meals. About 1 mile from the village Levisham has its own railway station on the North York Moors steam railway line which winds through the moors and wooded valleys between Pickering and Grosmont.
