Llanerchydol Lodge is a traditional, unspoilt detached Victorian gate lodge in the market town of Welshpool. The lodge has been recently restored, but retains the traditional exposed beams and antique furnishings. Llanerchydol Lodge is just across the road from the town's narrow gage railway, which offers easy access to a number of attractive towns and villages. Lake Vrnwy is just 30 minutes away, and features some good sailing and cycling opportunities, as well as an RSPB reserve. The Lodge is also close to several beaches.
